AMAZING. What Doc did today goes beyond explanation. Two weeks of trouble and he helped me get back to my old self. Can’t say enough about his services. Thank you for your help.

Your paperwork will be emailed to you after scheduling your initial visit. We ask that you provide as much detail in your paperwork. The more information you can provide, the better we can serve you. You must have the paperwork filled out before your first visit to the office.
At your first visit, you will have a consultation Dr. Fitterer. He will take a thorough history and discuss what has brought you in, why you have chosen to get help today, and your goals. Next, we will scan your body with advanced neurology-based technology to identify any area of subluxation. We will then do an orthopedic and neurologic exam to get a better idea of your body’s functionality, then take some X-rays if indicated.
Parking at Fitterer Chiropractic is conveniently located directly behind our building. We have handicapped accessible parking spaces and a handicapped accessible ramp leading right up to our back door.
Since kids are our main focus, we also have a fun and interactive kid’s area, where a kid can be a kid!
Here at Fitterer Chiropractic, we utilize the latest technology to accurately measure the health of your nervous system. The Insight Subluxation Station is a computerized, non-invasive & painless test consisting of thermal and surface electromyography.
The scans will show if there is any subluxation (stress) in your nervous system and how it is affecting your organs, glands, muscles & energy level.
It allows us to find problems before you feel them! Your body can be malfunctioning for months, even years, before you experience any symptoms.
Since symptoms are always the last to show and first to go, it is important to monitor the function of your nervous system which is what the Subluxation Station provides the doctor.
Because your care is based on the condition of your nervous system, not how you feel, this technology is the focal point of our practice.
“We don’t guess, we test”
Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is quickly becoming the gold standard for measuring cardiovascular health. This technology is a global measure of how stressed the brain and nervous system are. It indicates the amount of autonomic reserve and resiliency the nervous system contains to deal with the abundant amount of stressors in today’s society.

Thermal Scan measures temperature. When there are disturbances to your nervous system along the spine, there are often temperature differences from side to side due to inflammation and changes in blood flow. A thermal scan is non-invasive and reveals the condition of your autonomic nervous system controlling your organs, glands and circulatory system.

Surface Electromyography measures the minute amounts of electrical energy in the muscles along your spine. Subluxations disturb the function of the nervous system. This can produce too much or too little electrical activity in your muscles. We use this highly-accurate, non-invasive scan to document your progress. It’s more accurate than how you feel.
When you return for a follow-up, you will sit down with Dr. Fitterer for the report of findings. By this time, he has reviewed the results of your neuro-spinal scan and has created a care plan specific to your individual health needs. He will discuss the cause of your problem, how he can help, how long it will take, and what your investment in your health will be. If you chose to move forward and make a commitment, you will receive your first chiropractic adjustment immediately following.
Your follow up adjustments are convenient and efficient. Every visit of your follow-up care in our office contributes to the process designed to restore your health and wellness. You will likely have more frequent visits in the beginning but will be seeing progress with each step along the way. Re-examinations are performed about every 12 visits to measure your progress, meet any changing needs you may have, and keep you moving towards wellness care.
Many people wonder if they have to go to a chiropractor for the rest of their life once they start. Similar to exercising regularly or brushing your teeth every day, chiropractic care can be used proactively to stay functioning at the highest possible levels. Rather than looking at chiropractic as something you have to do, incorporate it into your lifestyle as a success strategy.
Yes. Your new patient paperwork will be emailed to you after scheduling your initial visit. It must be fully completed before you arrive. Providing as much detail as possible helps us understand your health history and serve you better.
Your first visit is our Initial Diagnostic Day. You will meet with Dr. Fitterer for a consultation, review your history, discuss your goals, and share what brought you in. You will then receive advanced neurological scans, followed by orthopedic and neurological exams. X-rays may be taken if necessary.
Yes! Kids are our main focus, and we have a fun, interactive kids’ area designed to help children feel comfortable and relaxed during their visit.
We use the Insight Subluxation Station, which provides computerized, non-invasive, and painless scans. These tests evaluate how well your nervous system is functioning and help identify areas of subluxation (stress). They allow us to detect issues long before symptoms appear—because symptoms are always the last to show and the first to go.
HRV measures how stressed or resilient your brain and nervous system are. It is considered a gold-standard measure of cardiovascular and autonomic health. This scan helps us understand how well your body is adapting to daily stressors.
The thermal scan measures temperature patterns along the spine. Differences from side to side can indicate inflammation or disturbances in the autonomic nervous system. This scan is non-invasive and helps us evaluate how well your organs, glands, and circulatory system are functioning.
Surface EMG measures the electrical activity in the muscles near your spine. Subluxations can cause muscles to work too hard or not enough. This non-invasive scan tracks your progress over time and is more accurate than relying on symptoms alone.
During your second visit, you’ll sit down with Dr. Fitterer to review the results of your neurological scans and exams. He will explain the cause of your problem, how chiropractic care can help, how long your recovery may take, and the financial investment involved. If you choose to begin care, you will receive your first adjustment immediately following this appointment.
Your follow-up visits are short and efficient. Most patients begin with more frequent appointments as their body starts to heal. Every 12 visits, we perform a re-examination to measure progress and update your care plan as needed.
Not at all. While some patients choose ongoing care to maintain optimal health—similar to exercise or dental hygiene—it is always your choice. Many people find that proactive chiropractic care helps them function at their best and adopt it as part of a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Fitterer and our team are happy to welcome you to our chiropractic facility in Palmyra, PA.
